changing love

I think there are different kinds of love and different ages of love.  Sometimes we don’t even think of it as love, and sometimes we mix up infactuation and other kinds of love with he kind that we actually need in any given situation.  Most of the time it’s mixing it up that becomes the problem.  But we learn and grow i assume from each, which is why they come.  or maybe somebody controlling all the love in the world is just sadistic, I couldn’t say.

Fucothin

Fucothin, pushed as the ultimate bottle of safe diet pills. So the other day, I decided to do a little bit of my own research to find out how true that was. What I found was interesting to say the least. First of all, it’s headed by Jordan Rubin of Garden of Life. He’s been sued by the FTC multiple times for making unsubstantiated claims about something curing cancer and this and that. I think he might be the guy on the infomercials who sells the book of natural cures for herpes and stuff, but I can’t remember for sure. So I read stuff from the FTC basically saying don’t listen to anything this guy says. But being that I’m not too fond of the FDA’s super low standards and all, I wasn’t inclined to trust just that. So I looked into the main ingredient, fucoxanthin. What I found there was a tich more disturbing. All the studies have been done by the same school, same lab, same group of researchers, listing the same names in different orders to try to make it not so biased or not appearing so. Ouch. And then, I looked up some of the particulars of his story. The doctor he associates with it is actually a legitimate doctor, so points for Rubin. But unfortunately, that doctor died in 2006, and the research on their main ingredient linking it to weight loss wasn’t actually released until 2007. That I will admit I heard a rumor of and went to check it out for myself. So I’m not the brain that discovered it in the first place. But it was absolutely brilliant, I mean how can you do worse? I actually like seaweed, eat it on a pretty regular basis and all. But I don’t know that it has weight loss properties. It would certainly make safe diet pills, just not necessarily effective ones.

Bigger Or Better

Sometimes people play the game bigger or better, and every once in a while you get something really good. But most of the time, people just give you something better and in a way you get ripped off at some point. But I wonder if that’s the mentality Hydroxycut uses, always pushing something bigger commercial wise rather than better. I mean obviously, bigger and better don’t go hand in hand when it comes to weight. If you’re bigger, generally not better, especially in terms of certain health concerns. But just because a diet pill promises to make you smaller for a small fee and uses big commercials does not make it better than the competition. Actually, it usually has the exact opposite effect. Bigger could also translate into celebrity promotion, which I believe Hydroxycut also uses if I’m thinking right. But again, how much are you paying for the actual product vs the celebrity promotion. In the case of cheapo products, that leaves you in a whole world of hurt. I mean if they can afford to pay a celebrity salary and still provide you a diet pill for about $10-$12, do the math. They have to make their own profit and salary, salaries of employees, salaries of the celeb, bottles, etc. and this is all before actually paying for the costs of the production of one bottle of pills, let alone millions. I mean I understand that they get discounts on mass orders. But the discounts on a quality product and quality ingredients aren’t that good. Moreover, quality is usually harder to find and so they might run out of stock faster, because they would be waiting for the production company to get things in stock more often. None of it makes sense.

No Miracle Diet Pill

Sometimes I hear about people who think that really effective diet pills can cure everything. I mean they expect to sit around eating twinkies all day, not exercise, and lose weight just because they are taking this “magic pill.” Something I’m sure many of them have discovered, THERE IS NO SUCH THING! I mean I’ve seen diet pills that claim to be. Most of them have been censored by the FTC for it. But some are small enough that maybe the FTC doesn’t care. I really couldn’t say. But honestly, there is no excuse to stop living a healthy lifestyle and expect results. I suppose you could lose weight with a McDonalds diet. But it would happen, because all the fat would be replacing your muscle mass. And muscle weighs more than fat per square inch. So you would be gaining size, but losing weight, still bad. And you would probably be gaining quite a few health problems as well. The most heard of one I heard of was when the cortisol products got censored. They were claiming to target belly fat, get rid of fat without diet and exercise, all sorts of stuff. The biggest problem was the kind of cortisol buildup they were talking about is huge, and only about oh 1% of the population actually has that problem. And the ingredients in those supplements had nothing to do with cortisol lowering benefits! The way I figure it, if you really want effective diet pills, you should look for realistic claims, good ingredients list, things that make sense, not just some fancy promise that is literally too good to be true.

Teenage Acne

I remember the days of severe acne. I didn’t have anything but acne vulgaris, the most common kind. But it seemed like I had a new breakout every day, and I was always looking for a new acne treatment. I tried Proactiv for a while, and all that happened was it dried out my face, and I had these little white flakes that looked almost as bad as the acne itself. So I stopped using it, and I could swear my acne flared up at least two times worse! I went through my teenage years trying every possible acne treatment on the market, and to be honest, none of them worked as fabulously as advertised. Even as an adult, I have an occasional flare up. But nothing too serious thankfully enough, just one lone zit it seems that goes away once I attack it with some kind of alcohol along with a scrub and a good acne killing moisturizer and several other treatments. But, most of the time, I can keep it down with the scrub I use, which is relatively inexpensive, at least compared to the money I spent on acne treatments(including those from a dermatologist)as a kid. The one thing that’s nice, I don’t have that kind of acne now, and my parents were responsible for all the treatments we bought when I was young. I had to pay for a few once I got an after school job. But I’ve seen people my age who still have serious problems, and I always feel much better about any acne predicaments I may have.

stupid personal trainers

I hate the personal trainers at the gym. I signed up for a month with one, and the whole time, he didn’t so much help me to learn new routines as just try to sell me new products. That is definitely not what I was paying for, so I dropped the personal training plan after a month. But then, after I was in my own gradually increasing routine for a few months, it seemed like my weight loss plateaued. I was running farther each day, and I didn’t start gaining weight or anything. It just seemed like the actual weight loss slowed significantly and even stopped in some ways. So I kicked up my diet plan and started lifting, and it still really didn’t help. After that, I started spending my money on Nuphedragen rather than a personal trainer. It was definitely much better. There were no sales pitches, no weak routines that would just turn into a waste of my time, just pure and long term results. It definitely felt like my body got kicked off its plateau, and I could almost feel my metabolism speeding up. I know that sounds unlikely and even a bit ridiculous in some ways. But it was definitely noticeable on the scale. I would go to family events or something else that almost required you eat more than normal and skip your normal workout routine, and it wouldn’t have this horrible impact. I wouldn’t lose weight that day, but my metabolism was high enough that it compensated for my moments. I’m definitely sure that nuphedragen made the difference, because I was using the same mechanisms before, and they never gave me results like this.
